Gwangsan District in Gwangju will launch the 'Starry Night Evening Exercise Class,' an opportunity for residents to stretch and exercise lightly in parks after work. The program will be held twice a week at five parks and is free of charge.
On May 3, Gwangsan District announced that it will operate the free health program 'Starry Night Evening Exercise Class' during evening hours for residents who lack time to exercise.
The program will run from May 12 until the end of July at five parks: Cheomdan Ssangam Neighborhood Park, Seonun Neighborhood Park, Gyeongam Neighborhood Park, Hwangryong Waterside Park, and Imbangul Children's Park. Sessions will take place every Monday through Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the classes will be held at Ssangam and Seonun Parks, while on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they will take place at Gyeongam, Hwangryong, and Imbangul Children's Parks.
Professional instructors will lead activities such as health exercises, stretching, and walking. Any resident can participate freely without the need for special equipment.
Registration is available through the Gwangsan District Lifelong Learning Portal 'Baeurangke.' For more information, inquiries can be made to the Usan Health Living Support Center.
