Yuseong-gu Records Highest Increase at 2.76%
Objections Accepted Until May 29
The Daejeon Metropolitan Government announced that, as of January 1, 2025, it has determined and published the officially assessed individual land prices for 230,180 parcels.
The final assessed land prices were confirmed after collecting and reviewing public feedback on the draft individual land prices, which had been released in March 2025.
During the feedback period, a total of 62 opinions were submitted. Of these, 37 cases (59.7%) requested an increase in land price, while 25 cases (40.3%) requested a decrease. After review by the real estate price disclosure committees of each district, 10 cases (16.1%) were adjusted.
The average increase in Daejeon's individual land prices for 2025 was 2.20% compared to the previous year, which is slightly lower than the national average increase of 2.72%. By district, Yuseong-gu recorded the highest increase at 2.76%, followed by Daedeok-gu at 2.05%, Seo-gu at 2.03%, Jung-gu at 1.75%, and Dong-gu at 1.57%.
By parcel, 92.3% saw an increase compared to the previous year, 3.9% remained unchanged, 3.3% decreased, and 0.5% were newly surveyed.
The highest officially assessed land price in Daejeon is for commercial land in Eunhaeng-dong, Jung-gu, at 14,960,000 won per square meter, which is an increase of 70,000 won from the previous year. The lowest is for forest land in Secheon-dong, Dong-gu, at 471 won per square meter.
The officially assessed individual land prices can be viewed on the 'Real Estate Price Disclosure System' or at the civil affairs office of each district office. If there are any objections to the assessed land prices, they can be submitted online (Real Estate Price Disclosure System), or by mail, fax, or in person at the relevant district office until May 29, 2025.
For parcels with objections submitted, the relevant district office will re-examine the appropriateness of the price, and, if necessary, the price will be adjusted and re-announced on June 26, 2025.
