Kim Soohyun Files Additional Complaint Against Gaseyeon Operator for Stalking

Actor Kim Soohyun has filed an additional criminal complaint against Mr. A, the operator of the YouTube channel "Garo Sero Institute" (hereafter Gaseyeon), for violating the Anti-Stalking Act. This is his second legal action, following the initial complaint filed last month.

On the 30th, Kim Soohyun's agency Gold Medalist and his legal representative, law firm LKB & Partners, stated, "Mr. A's persistent and repeated dissemination of false information about Kim Soohyun constitutes a stalking crime," adding, "We have taken additional legal action, including filing a new complaint and accusation."

Kim Soohyun's side had previously filed a complaint on the 1st of last month, alleging that Mr. A repeatedly broadcasted false information on YouTube, thereby defaming Kim Soohyun and causing psychological harm, under the same charge.

The investigative authorities determined that Mr. A's actions constituted stalking and, on the 22nd, requested the Seoul Central District Court to order Mr. A to cease the stalking behavior. The court accepted this request on the following day, the 23rd, and issued a provisional order against Mr. A.

However, Kim Soohyun's side claimed, "Even after being formally notified of the court's decision, Mr. A has ignored it and continues to make false claims about Kim Soohyun on his YouTube channel."

Previously, Gaseyeon cited a phone call with the family of the late Kim Saeron, alleging that "in 2015, Kim Soohyun dated Kim Saeron, who was 15 years old at the time, for six years." In response, Kim Soohyun's side acknowledged that he had dated Kim Saeron in the past but refuted the claim that "the relationship began while she was a minor." Kim Soohyun's side is pursuing legal action not only against Mr. A, who made these claims, but also against Kim Saeron's family, who provided the basis for the related remarks.
