A Variety of Programs Featuring Korea’s Beloved Characters, Performances, and Parades

Gimpo City in Gyeonggi Province will host a large-scale event on May 5 to celebrate Children's Day, featuring a gathering of Korea's most beloved characters. According to Gimpo City on April 30, the event will showcase a variety of programs, including performances and parades, with popular characters such as Carrie and Friends, Pinkfong, and Robocar Poli taking part.

On May 5, a full lineup of characters popular among children will appear in Gimpo. On this day, four parks across the city will host a grand parade, cartoon character cosplay, and a series of performances featuring these characters. In particular, Carrie and Friends, Pinkfong and Tuntun Teacher, and Robocar Poli?characters familiar to children?are expected to draw significant attention as they visit Gimpo.

At Hosu Park in Masan-dong, visitors can enjoy the Carrie and Friends sing-along show, a bubble performance, and the Pinkfong and Tuntun Teacher dance party, as well as a cosplay photo zone. There will also be a Viking ride and a total of 20 different experience booths.

At Hangang Central Park in Janggi-dong, the Pinkfong and Tuntun Teacher dance party and the Robocar Poli sing-along show will be held. Families can participate in a sports day event, enjoy the Viking ride, and explore 15 different experience booths.

At Geolpo Central Park, visitors can enjoy the Robocar Poli sing-along show, a balloon performance, and a bubble performance. There will also be a giant block play event, the Viking ride, and 12 experience booths available.

At Masong Central Park, the event will feature a balloon performance, the Carrie and Friends sing-along show, a family singing contest, the Viking ride, and 13 experience booths.

Gimpo City plans to use this event to enhance the cultural value of the local community and will continue to develop a variety of programs aimed at fostering children's imagination and creativity.
