Masan Fire Station in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam held an award ceremony on April 25 to honor individuals recognized for their contributions to fire safety in the first quarter.
The event was held in conjunction with the regular meeting of the Fire Development Committee. It was organized to express gratitude and encouragement to those who have dedicated themselves to community safety and contributed to fire prevention and the establishment of an initial response system.
A total of four members of the Fire Development Committee received awards. The recipients were recognized for their contributions to improving overall community safety by leading autonomous safety management and fire cooperation systems within their respective organizations.
After the award ceremony, appointment letters were presented to newly appointed committee members, and discussions were held on the committee's operational direction. Various opinions were also shared to develop fire safety policies tailored to the local community.
Lee Gilha, Chief of Masan Fire Station, stated, "I would like to thank those who have quietly dedicated themselves to the safety of our community. We will continue to work closely with the Fire Development Committee to make Masan a safer place."
