Four Gold Medals Won at the 64th Jeonnam Sports Festival
The Wando County Office weightlifting team in South Jeolla achieved a remarkable feat by having all of its athletes win gold medals at the 64th Jeonnam Sports Festival.
On April 24, the county announced that all four team members each earned a gold medal at the event, which was recently held in Jangseong County. The gold medalists?Kang Minwoo, Kim Dongmin, Lim Jeonghee, and Cho Jiyeong?each demonstrated overwhelming skill in their respective weight classes.

Kang Minwoo competed in the men's 89kg category, Kim Dongmin in the men's 61kg category, Lim Jeonghee in the women's +87kg category, and Cho Jiyeong in the women's 55kg category, with each athlete securing first place.
In particular, Kang Minwoo and Lim Jeonghee further proved themselves as South Jeolla's leading weightlifters by jointly winning a total of five gold medals at the National Spring Weightlifting Championships held last month.
Coach Seo Hocheol stated, "I believe the athletes achieved these excellent results thanks to their dedication to training," adding, "We will continue to do our best to achieve even better results in the future."
