Gwangju and Jeonnam will experience clear and cool weather with a large temperature difference between day and night. Caution is advised due to fine dust in the afternoon and strong winds. Yonhap News

On April 24, the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions will experience clear skies and cool spring weather.

According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, the area will be influenced by a high-pressure system moving southeast from northern China on this day.

Morning low temperatures are expected to be 9 degrees Celsius in Jangseong; 10 degrees in Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Muan, Naju, Hwasun, Yeongam, Haenam, Boseong, Gokseong, and Damyang; 11 degrees in Shinan, Mokpo, Jindo, Wando, Jangheung, Gangjin, Goheung, and Gurye; 12 degrees in Gwangju, Suncheon, and Gwangyang; and 13 degrees in Yeosu.

Daytime high temperatures are forecast to reach 24 degrees Celsius in Suncheon and Gwangyang; 23 degrees in Gurye; 22 degrees in Gwangju, Damyang, Gokseong, Hwasun, Jangheung, Gangjin, and Goheung; 21 degrees in Jangseong, Naju, Yeongam, Wando, and Boseong; 20 degrees in Haenam; 19 degrees in Hampyeong and Muan; 18 degrees in Yeonggwang and Jindo; and 17 degrees in Shinan and Mokpo.

Sea waves are expected to reach 0.5 meters in the West Sea and 0.5 to 1 meter in the South Sea. Fine dust levels will be 'moderate' in the morning, but may temporarily reach 'bad' levels in the afternoon.

An official from the Meteorological Administration stated, "In most areas, wind gusts may reach around 55 km/h (15 m/s), so please pay attention to facility management and safety accidents."
