Gwangju Bank announced on April 23 that it has relocated its Bukhang Branch, previously located in Sanjeong-dong, Mokpo City, to Yeonsan-dong within the Yonghae District.
With the expansion and relocation, the Bukhang Branch has also been renamed the Yonghae Branch. The Yonghae Branch is situated near major transportation networks in Mokpo City, offering excellent accessibility for customers. The surrounding area features large apartment complexes, industrial zones, and commercial facilities, which is expected to enable the branch to effectively meet the financial needs of a high volume of foot traffic.
Gwangju Bank plans to use this expansion and relocation as an opportunity to further strengthen its provision of community-based financial services and customized financial support for small business owners. In particular, the bank will expand guaranteed loans through an agreement with the Jeonnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, and will support local economic revitalization by providing startup capital and business stabilization funds.
Ko Byungil, CEO of Gwangju Bank, stated, "Gwangju Bank has always worked for the local community and economy as a leading regional bank, and we will continue to establish ourselves as a trusted and beloved financial partner in the region."
