iMarketKorea Signs Incentive Agreement with Taylor Economic Development Corporation

Gradiant Technology Park in Texas to Begin Phase 1 Construction This Year
Custom Solutions for Companies Entering the U.S. Market

iMarketKorea, a B2B industrial materials distributor, announced on April 23 that its U.S. subsidiary, iMarketAmerica, has signed an investment incentive agreement with the Taylor Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) in Texas for the Phase 1 development of Gradiant Technology Park.

The agreement designates 900,000 square meters out of a total of 2.6 million square meters as Phase 1, outlining iMarketAmerica's investment plans as well as TEDC's support for the development of the industrial complex. The agreement covers the expansion of wastewater pipelines to the terminal treatment plant, construction of transportation infrastructure, securing water supply rights, and reductions in sales and use taxes related to construction material costs.

The signing of this agreement signals the official launch of iMarketKorea's overseas business expansion. It is also significant as the result of sustained efforts to build consensus with the U.S. government regarding the first implementation of a Korean-style industrial complex in the United States.

iMarketAmerica aims to minimize the risks associated with initial entry into the U.S. market by leveraging cooperative relationships with Williamson County and the City of Taylor, and will provide tailored infrastructure support for business activities. In addition, the company plans to expand the scope of business cooperation to create synergies among tenant companies, including the formation of an advanced industry SCM cluster, collaboration to expand access to the North American market, and provision of integrated logistics services.

Gradiant Technology Park has already received approval for its comprehensive industrial complex development plan and Phase 1 execution plan, with groundbreaking scheduled for this year. In the future, the park will house a variety of facilities, including manufacturing plants, logistics warehouses, R&D centers, offices, and retail spaces.

Kim Hakjae, CEO of iMarketKorea, stated, "In an unstable global environment marked by U.S.-China tensions and the announcement of reciprocal tariffs, Gradiant Technology Park will serve as a strategic base offering an optimized business environment for companies engaged in national strategic industries such as semiconductors, biotechnology, and EVs." He added, "In addition to this agreement, we are currently discussing additional incentive programs with the City of Taylor."

Betty Day, Chairperson of TEDC, commented on the signing of the agreement, saying, "We are pleased to have reached this important milestone. The agreement reflects the tremendous collaboration and effort of all parties involved, and we look forward to the project having a positive impact on the City of Taylor in the future."
