Chungnam Office of Education Holds Appointment Ceremony and First Policy Advisory Meeting on April 18

The Chungnam Office of Education announced that on the morning of April 18, it held the appointment ceremony for the "2025 Chungnam-type Neulbom School Policy Support Group" and the 1st regular policy advisory meeting at the Chilgapsan NH Hotel in Cheongyang-gun.
The Chungnam-type Neulbom School Policy Support Group consists of 22 education field experts, including Pyeon Dokyung, principal of Seongjeong Elementary School in Cheonan, who serves as the head of the group. With the appointment ceremony held on this day, the support group officially launched and began its full-scale activities.
During the 1st policy advisory meeting that followed the appointment ceremony, a wide range of current issues were discussed in depth. These included sharing the operational plan for the Chungnam-type Neulbom School, measures to enhance the efficiency of customized program operations, plans to identify best practices and produce manual materials, checking the status of support personnel, strategies for operating Neulbom classes outside of schools in connection with the local community, and securing safety personnel.
Jung Eunyoung, Director of the Department of Elementary and Special Education at the provincial office of education, stated, "I hope the collective intelligence of the policy support group appointed today will serve as a strong foundation for the sustainable growth of the Chungnam-type Neulbom School," adding, "We will spare no effort at the education office level to provide support so that effective policies can be firmly established in the field with the highest level of safety as our goal."
Meanwhile, the Chungnam-type Neulbom School Policy Support Group plans to support the stable establishment of the Chungnam-type model by engaging in a variety of activities, including operational consulting, development of best practices, and policy recommendations, based on their experience and expertise in the education field.
