Business Agreement Signed with KOH YOUNG Technology for "Activation of Career Education"
Career Experience Programs and Learning Mentoring to Be Provided
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is expanding career education for youth in collaboration with local semiconductor companies.
On the 18th, Yongin City announced that it signed a "Business Agreement for the Activation of Local-Linked Career Education" with semiconductor inspection equipment company KOH YOUNG Technology Inc. on the 17th.

In the agreement, KOH YOUNG Technology agreed to establish ▲ a network for project promotion ▲ mutual cooperation for the development and operation of career education programs ▲ a cooperative system through the linkage of human and material resources for nurturing future talents.
According to the agreement, the company will provide career experience programs and learning mentoring by utilizing resources and professional personnel. The company also plans to offer opportunities for direct experience in job sites. The city will provide administrative support necessary for project operation and establish a foundation for smooth project promotion.
Lee Sang-il, Mayor of Yongin City, said, "We are grateful that KOH YOUNG Technology, recognized as the best in Korea in the semiconductor inspection equipment field, is generously investing in education to nurture future talents," adding, "We will do our best to support students so that they can receive satisfying career experience education."
Ko Kwang-il, CEO of KOH YOUNG Technology, said, "We know how powerful it is for students to have dreams, so we will do our best to help nurture local talents."
KOH YOUNG Technology, headquartered in Sanghyeon-dong, Suji-gu, Yongin, is a semiconductor inspection equipment company established in 2002. Since 2013, it has held the number one market share worldwide in the fields of solder paste inspection (SPI) and automated optical inspection (AOI) for component mounting.
Starting with this agreement, the city plans to expand cooperation with local companies and universities to provide youth with systematic and practical career education and job experience opportunities.
