'Gangnam Apartment Insights' 'In the End, the People Do It' Bestseller No. 1

'Gangnam Apartment Insight,' which comprehensively covers the location analysis and investment sentiment of Gangnam apartments, has newly risen to number one on Yes24's comprehensive bestseller list for the third week of April. This book gained great popularity by achieving 10,277% of its funding goal during the funding period from March 11 to 31.


Former Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung's new book, In the End, the People Do It, ranked second, and author Kim Young-ha's first new work in six years, One Life Only, took third place. Popular creator 'Heunhan Nam-mae,' who surpassed 2.91 million subscribers, placed fourth with the new release Heunhan Nam-mae 19, while the 2023 work That’s Enough If You Gave It, which highlights the life of supporter Kim Jang-ha, climbed to fifth place in a reverse run. The Presidential Yoon Seok-yeol Impeachment Case Judgment ranked eleventh.


Books related to politicians attracted significant attention. In the top 10 bestsellers in the social and political category, in addition to the number one book In the End, the People Do It, there were five books by politicians, including Lee Jae-myung’s Preparation, Lee Jae-myung’s Path, The Resident’s Constitution, and Beyond Anger, Kim Dong-yeon.


Economics and business books were also widely included in the rankings. Economic columnist Lim Ju-young’s The Economic Stories That Economic Newspapers Don’t Tell ranked seventeenth, and popular blogger 'Kkangto’s' new book Keep Losses Short, Profits Long reached twentieth place alongside pre-orders.

At Kyobo Bookstore, Lee Jae-myung’s In the End, the People Do It immediately rose to number one on the comprehensive list upon publication. Looking at the purchase distribution, female readers accounted for a somewhat high 59.6%. The main reader demographic was in their 40s, making up 34.8%, followed by women in their 50s and men in their 40s.


The Constitutional Court’s judgment document attracted unusual attention and ranked third overall. Although court rulings and casebooks have been published as reference materials for related professions, the popularity of this judgment document is notable because it concerns a trial of national interest. Female readers purchased it somewhat more, and those in their 40s accounted for the highest share at 36.7%.
