'From Today, I Am a Protector of the Nation'... Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office Holds Special One-Day Lecture

Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Director Namil Lee) held a special one-day class titled "From Today, I Am a Protector of the Nation" for first and second grade students at the library of Busan Nambumin Elementary School on the 17th.


The class consisted of various activities and group cooperative learning, including "Learning About the National Flag Taegukgi," "Guess the Initial Consonants of the National Anthem Quiz," and "Making Taegukgi Pinwheels."


The special class was led by the Head of the Veterans Support Center and the Head of the Compensation Team from the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs. The mascot Bobo also joined the class, providing lessons tailored to the children's level and increasing their engagement.


Additionally, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation, children who participated in the class were given a coloring book of memorial facilities, produced in collaboration between the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and student supporters from Pukyong National University, to encourage ongoing interest in veterans affairs.


A representative from the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs stated, "Today’s children are the future leaders of Korea. We will continue to provide various educational programs on veterans affairs so that our children can cultivate a love for their country and learn about veterans culture in an easy and enjoyable way."
