Naval Academy and Naval Education Command Conduct Integrated Recruitment Activities for High School Students Military education soldiers are visiting Changseon High School in Namhae to promote recruitment to students.

This integrated recruitment activity was carried out as part of a promotional effort to proactively respond to the sharp decline in military manpower resources and to stably secure creative naval talents who will lead the future. The campaign was conducted without distinction between different statuses such as officers, non-commissioned officers, enlisted personnel, and midshipmen.

This joint recruitment campaign targeting high schools in the Gyeongnam region saw the participation of both ROKNA midshipmen and naval personnel from NETC. In particular, by visiting their alma maters together with midshipmen and active-duty personnel who are alumni of the same high schools, they not only increased familiarity with the Navy but also conveyed that the Navy offers opportunities to pursue dreams in various fields.

During the visits, ROKNA midshipmen and NETC personnel introduced the Navy as a whole, screened promotional videos, explained the ROKNA admissions process, and conducted various recruitment promotional activities for ROTC, officer, non-commissioned officer, and enlisted positions.

Lee Jinhong, a Chief Petty Officer and deck instructor from NETC who visited his alma mater, Changseon High School in Namhae, said, "Standing here as a non-commissioned officer in the Navy in the very classroom where I once dreamed of joining the Navy, and sharing that dream with my juniors as an alumnus, is a truly special feeling. It was a valuable time to share the dreams and vision of the proud Republic of Korea Navy, aspiring to become a leading maritime power, with my juniors."

Lieutenant Colonel Yang Hunmo, Director of Personnel Administration at NETC and the organizer of this joint recruitment campaign, stated, "We will continue to carry out various recruitment promotion activities so that outstanding talents can apply to the Republic of Korea Navy with the dream of protecting maritime sovereignty."
