The funds delivered this time will be used for various social contribution activities, including support for the Sunshine Sharing Volunteer Program, companion beach cleanup activities, warmth-sharing events for holidays, and volunteer education for employees.
The Sunshine Sharing Volunteer Program by S-OIL, which began in 2011, is a project where S-OIL forms one-on-one partnerships with local social welfare facilities and provides various welfare programs to people with disabilities, the elderly, and youth who use these facilities, together with S-OIL volunteers. Through the Sunshine Sharing Program, S-OIL has been spreading warmth throughout the Ulsan region.
In 2024, about 2,300 people, including volunteers, participated in these activities.
In addition, S-OIL and the Ulsan Volunteer Center plan to continue their ongoing sharing activities, such as companion beach cleanup activities, clean coast campaigns, sharing events for neighbors in need during holidays, and volunteer education for employees to promote volunteerism.
Kim Bochan, Vice President of S-OIL, who attended the delivery ceremony, said, "I hope this support will be an opportunity to spread warmth throughout Ulsan, and S-OIL will continue to carry out various social contribution activities for mutual growth with the Ulsan region."
S-OIL is actively practicing warmth-sharing for neighbors in need in various ways throughout the region, including the Sharing Kimchi of Love campaign, delivering agricultural product packages to support local farmers, and bread-making volunteer activities to support underprivileged families.
