Children's Safety Puppet Show Held Every Thursday at Bitgoeul National Safety Experience Center
Gwangju Bitgoeul National Safety Experience Center announced on the 14th that it will operate a special program, the Children's Safety Puppet Show, until December to raise children's awareness of safety.
The program was designed to help children easily learn and understand the importance of safety through a puppet show that can spark their interest and curiosity. The Children's Safety Puppet Show is targeted at preschool children and will be held every Thursday at 10:40 a.m. for about 40 minutes at the Emergency Safety Experience Zone on the 3rd floor of the Bitgoeul National Safety Experience Center in Ochi-dong, Buk-gu. The show covers a variety of safety situations that may occur in everyday life.
The maximum number of attendees is 150, and reservations can be made through Gwangju City's integrated reservation platform 'Baroyeyak.' Parents may accompany their children, and admission is free. Since its launch in 2022, the Children's Safety Puppet Show has been held 148 times as of last month, with a total of 15,637 preschool children attending.
Lee Jeongja, Director of the Bitgoeul National Safety Experience Center, said, "In addition to the Children's Safety Puppet Show, we will continue to operate various safety education programs to create a sustainable safety experience environment," and added, "We will do our best to provide various hands-on activities and educational programs so that children can develop safe living habits and to promote a culture of safety throughout the local community."
