Expansion of Mobile Job Counseling Centers
Nighttime Services Now Available
Jung-gu, Seoul is expanding the operation of job counseling centers, including mobile job counseling centers and nighttime job counseling centers.
The district will significantly increase the operation of mobile job counseling centers, which visit residents who find it difficult to visit the Job Plus Center, from at least once a month to up to eight times a month. Jung-gu is divided into four zones, and professional career counselors will visit community centers or resident centers in each zone. However, the Sindang zone will have a fixed counseling center operation on the first Wednesday of every month.
Since last month, to assist residents who find it difficult to receive job counseling during daytime hours, a nighttime job counseling center has been opened on the last Wednesday of every month from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Civil Affairs and Passport Division on the first floor of Jung-gu Office’s main building.
At the job counseling centers, professional career counselors conduct in-depth consultations tailored to each job seeker, provide customized job placement, connect them with vocational training programs, and guide them through various employment support systems to help resolve residents’ employment-related concerns.
Meanwhile, last year, Jung-gu held a total of 18 mobile job counseling sessions and conducted 323 consultations.
