Establishing an Advanced Future Industrial Ecosystem
Hamyang County in Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that it has implemented administrative services to provide convenience for companies applying to participate in the '2025 City-County-Gu Local Industry Development Project,' such as on-site business briefings and support for application submissions, in order to strengthen the competitiveness of local specialty food companies.
The 'City-County-Gu Local Industry Development Project' is organized by Gyeongnam Technopark and jointly supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Hamyang County. The business briefing and application support were held over two days, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on June 10 and 11, in the meeting room on the first floor of the Anti-Aging Center. The application period for participating companies is open until 6:00 PM on the 17th.

This project aims to discover business models based on local industries for small and medium-sized enterprises in areas with declining populations and to support their commercialization, thereby responding to the risk of regional extinction and promoting the sustainable growth of SMEs.
In particular, a variety of support measures have been prepared to create jobs and vitalize the local economy, focusing on Hamyang County's representative specialized resources, such as Sanyangsam and the anti-aging agricultural food processing industry. The main goal is to achieve tangible income growth by linking the production and processing of local specialized resources with upstream and downstream industries.
At the on-site business briefing, various programs were introduced, including professional consulting for SME advancement, support for prototype production and marketing, package support, productivity improvement support, and buyer connections for overseas expansion.
Comprehensive support measures were also introduced, such as education to improve trend awareness, monitoring of company difficulties, customized package support (from prototype development to marketing), pilot production equipment improvement, production facility efficiency, and safety diagnostics.
Yeom Heesaeng, head of the Sinsam Anti-Aging Department, stated, "The City-County-Gu Local Industry Development Project is a project linked to the Hamyang County specialty industry ecosystem development fund. Through on-site business briefings and application support, we will actively help local companies better understand the project and achieve tangible results," adding, "We will continue to pursue various support measures to strengthen the competitiveness of the Sinsam anti-aging industry in the future."
