The experience center is a space created by the city in February this year at the Eulsukdo Picnic Plaza to help foster emotional development and holistic growth in young children.

Forest education is known to have positive effects on children, such as ▲improving learning abilities ▲enhancing environmental sensitivity ▲forming self-concept ▲boosting immunity ▲psychological stability ▲and developing social skills.

In addition, a variety of programs are offered so that participants can fully experience and enjoy nature, including ▲children's forest ▲family forest ▲and healing forest experiences. Specialized instructors, known as children's forest guides, are also present to help children connect with the changing seasons and the vitality of life.

The 'Children's Forest Experience' is designed for young children and is divided into ▲exploratory children's forest and ▲play-based children's forest. Reservations for the 'May Children's Forest Experience Program' will begin on April 15.

The 'Family Forest Experience' will be available for families including young children, starting in August. This program will have a participation fee, and details on how to participate will be announced separately in the future.

The 'Healing Forest Experience' is intended for adults. Participants can enjoy ▲Flower Tea Salon with Stories ▲and Eulsukdo Healing Yoga, making use of Eulsukdo's beautiful natural environment.

Applications for the various programs at the experience center can be made through the city's integrated reservation website.

Kim Kyunghee, Director of the Nakdong River Management Headquarters, said, "I hope that the children who will lead our future society can grow up healthy by interacting with nature at Eulsukdo, a world-renowned migratory bird sanctuary," and added, "We will continue to expand opportunities for experience and education by developing ongoing ecological environment programs."
