Lee Jae-myung, on Official Cafe: "I Want to Make a Real Republic of Korea... It's Okay to Give Me a Hard Time"

Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party of Korea's presidential primary candidate, emphasized on the 11th on his campaign's official cafe, "I want to create a great and proud nation of the people that is autonomous and democratic, the 'real Republic of Korea'."

On the same day in the afternoon, Lee posted an article titled "Greetings" on the 'Lee Jae-myung Camp Official Cafe,' saying, "After 123 days since the December 3 martial law, are you fully enjoying the spring days when cherry blossoms are in full bloom?"

Lee said, "We meet in a new space. I am curious about how you have been lately," adding, "I am heavy-hearted wondering if you are spending restless nights tossing and turning amid the unsettled constitutional order and the economic crisis threatening people's livelihoods."

He continued, "As I stepped down from the party leader position, I am still curious about how you viewed my reflections, my declaration of candidacy, and my vision proclamation," and said, "I have put in my long-standing affection and current aspirations. I want to create a great and proud nation of the people that is autonomous and democratic, the 'real Republic of Korea.'"

Lee said, "In case this new space feels unfamiliar, I will explain how to use it and conclude," adding, "Feel free to chat, boast, cheer, make various suggestions, or even scold me with 'This is not right!' I am curious about all your stories, so I will come often to listen."

He continued, "However, let us just remember that we are democrats. I will come again to share news," and concluded, "From now on, the real Republic of Korea! See you soon."
