Lotte Construction "If You Have Technology, Come"... Recruiting AI and Robot Startups

Benefits Include Technology Verification Opportunities and Commercialization Support Funds

Lotte Construction has embarked on securing new technologies applicable to construction sites.

On the 8th, Lotte Construction announced that it will operate an open innovation program targeting startups in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), spatial information, and robotics.

The recruitment is conducted in two tracks. The '2025 1st S.Stage' in collaboration with the Seoul Creative Economy Innovation Center accepts applications until May 2. The recruitment fields focus on ▲AI ▲spatial recognition technology ▲robotics and automation equipment, aiming to discover startups in new technologies and new business areas. Selected companies will be provided with opportunities for technology verification (PoC, Proof of Concept), commercialization funds, office space, mentoring, and investment connections.

A separate track is operated with the Seoul Business Agency (Seoul Startup Hub Changdong). Applications are accepted until the 27th. Target startups are those possessing ▲AI-based automatic calculation of construction periods ▲orthophoto super-resolution technology. This track also offers benefits such as PoC opportunities, support funds, and co-working space. If performance is excellent, additional PoC and follow-up funding will be supported.

A Lotte Construction official said, "We plan to discover innovative startups that will lead the future of the construction industry and achieve sustainable growth through mutual cooperation," adding, "We ask for your great interest and participation."

Lotte Construction has been collaborating with startups since 2022, and in December last year, it held a demo day to publicly showcase the technologies and business feasibility of partner startups. Lotte affiliates, investors, and construction companies participated on-site, leading to follow-up discussions.
