Promoting the Wise Apartment Community Life Support Project
Gwangju Dong-gu (District Mayor Lim Taek) announced on the 7th that it will officially launch the '2025 Wise Apartment Community Life Support Project.'
This project, organized by the Pureunmaeul Community Center, is a program designed to revitalize apartment communities by supporting resident interaction and lifestyle culture campaigns utilizing shared spaces within apartment complexes. Dong-gu will begin recruiting communities to participate in the project starting from the 14th.
The main components include ▲support for community activities (up to 1 million KRW), ▲operation of lifestyle culture campaigns within apartments, and ▲education and consulting to strengthen community capabilities. The core of this project is to help residents voluntarily form and activate their own communities. In addition to supporting community activities, Dong-gu plans to foster a more sustainable apartment community culture by connecting with city and district public projects and local resources.
Any community consisting of five or more apartment residents is eligible to apply, and the application period is from the 14th to the 28th. Applications can be submitted via email or in person.
