Former People Power Party lawmaker Yoo Seung-min urged acceptance and national unity regarding the Constitutional Court's decision to set the date for the impeachment trial verdict of President Yoon Seok-yeol.

On the same day, Yoo posted on social media (SNS), "The decision of the Constitutional Court is final," adding, "I hope all the Constitutional Court justices will make a fair decision based on conscience and the Constitution, beyond political affiliations."
He also called for acceptance from the political sphere, including President Yoon. He said, "Both ruling and opposition parties must accept the Constitutional Court's decision," and urged, "Even if the decision is not what they want, they must declare acceptance after the verdict. President Yoon Seok-yeol and Representative Lee Jae-myung must also promise to accept the ruling."
He further urged efforts toward national unity. He stated, "Politicians have the duty to heal divisions and conflicts after the verdict and strive toward national unity."
