Ahn Cheol-soo: "Constitutional Court Impeachment Trial Must Be Respected and Accepted by Ruling Party, Opposition, and Yoon"

On the 1st, Ahn Cheol-soo, a member of the People Power Party, commented on the scheduled impeachment ruling against President Yoon Suk-yeol, stating, "Regardless of the decision made, the president and all political parties must respect and accept it."

Through social media, Ahn said, "The impeachment trial ruling for President Yoon Suk-yeol is scheduled for April 4," adding, "The Constitutional Court is the last bastion of the rule of law in the Republic of Korea. Whatever decision is made must be respected."

Regarding the Constitutional Court's decision, he said, "Not only the political parties but also President Yoon Suk-yeol himself must humbly accept and comply with the Constitutional Court's ruling," emphasizing, "That is the way to save the Republic of Korea and truly serve the people."

He continued, "The political parties should take the Constitutional Court's decision as a starting point and unite their efforts to achieve national integration and political stability," adding, "In history, no country has overcome a crisis while its people were divided. Now is the time to end confrontation and discord and move toward an era of unity and harmony."
