The promotional video for "Now Imsil, 2025 Visit Imsil Year," released through the official SNS channels of Imsil County Office in North Jeolla Province, including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, is spreading nationwide and gaining unexpected popularity.
According to the county on the 31st, the promotional video for "Now Imsil, 2025 Visit Imsil Year," released on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram on the 7th of last month, has surpassed 124,005 views as of today, receiving an enthusiastic response.
This promotional video features major tourist attractions in Imsil County, such as the Okjeongho Suspension Bridge, Bungeo Island, Imsil Cheese Theme Park, Osu Eui-gyeon Tourist Site, King’s Forest Seongsusan Natural Recreation Forest, and Gwanchon Saseondae. It also showcases the diverse scenes of seasonal festivals, including the Okjeongho Cherry Blossom Festival, ImsilN Pet Star, ImsilN Cheese Festival, and Santa Festival.
The comments section is filled with positive reactions, with supportive messages such as "The start of every trip is always Imsil!", "I must visit this year," and "My hometown Imsil is the best."
Buoyed by this high level of interest and support, the county plans to continue releasing various promotional content and will actively promote Imsil so that more tourists visit during the 2025 Visit Imsil Year.
Additionally, a special promotional booth will be operated at the Okjeongho Cherry Blossom Festival, which will be held on the 5th and 6th of next month, to commemorate the "Visit Imsil Year." Various events, including a roulette event and SNS event, are planned, further enhancing the enjoyment of the festival for visitors.
In celebration of the 2025 Visit Imsil Year, the county is preparing various benefits and programs to attract tourists. In particular, special travel experiences will be offered through programs such as accommodation discounts, influencer invitation fam tours, Imsil tours for university students in the province, and incentives for travel agencies that attract group tourists.
County Governor Shim Min said, "We are striving to widely promote Imsil's beautiful nature, culture, and various festivals in celebration of the 2025 Visit Imsil Year," and added, "We will do our best to continue promoting Imsil and expanding tourism infrastructure so that more tourists can visit."
