Chungnam Office of Education Holds Student Gambling Prevention Education Committee Meeting

Discussion on the Current Status of Student Gambling Issues and Response Measures

On the 28th, the Chungnam Office of Education held a Student Gambling Prevention Education Committee meeting at the provincial education office.

The Chungnam Office of Education held the '2025 Chungnam Student Gambling Prevention Education Committee' on the 28th to protect students from harmful environments and support their growth into healthy members of society.

During this committee meeting, participants shared directions and key tasks for promoting student gambling prevention education in 2025, discussed the seriousness of student gambling issues and response measures, and agreed to further strengthen the Chungnam gambling prevention education support network.

Prior to this, the Chungnam Office of Education conducted gambling prevention education for regional education office staff and school life guidance teachers on the 18th and 20th to proactively prevent student gambling issues.

Superintendent Kim Jicheol emphasized, "We will closely support school gambling prevention education, healing for at-risk students, and post-management so that students can lead safe and happy lives without being influenced by gambling tendencies."
