Practical Training Boosts Employee Satisfaction

Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 27th that it successfully concluded the March course with the 4th lecture of the self-development training series, titled "Thinking Organization Method," held on the 26th at the Deogyang District Office's main conference room for over 200 employees.

In the lecture, Bok Joo-hwan, CEO of Thinking Organization Class and bestselling author, introduced efficient work management, document writing, and planning improvement methods using thinking organization techniques, receiving high praise from the participants.


The city operates various lectures in different fields to strengthen the practical capabilities of public officials through self-development training.


The educational goal for 2025 is "Cultivating Talent Leading the Digital Transformation Era," focusing on the active use of generative artificial intelligence (AI), enhancing planning and collaboration skills, and promoting proactive administration based on creative thinking, with a total of 16 sessions held annually.


The March training consisted of lectures on Organizational Communication for Performance Improvement (March 5), Speech 3-STEP for Public Officials (March 12), Utilization of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Public Officials (March 19), and Thinking Organization Method to Turn Imagination into Reality (March 26), with a total of over 420 public officials participating.


Notably, this year, by providing training applicable to practical work beyond simple self-development education, the average satisfaction score reached 4.76 out of 5, showing improvement compared to last year's average of 4.65.


Kim Hyung-gi, Director of the Human Resources Department, stated, "We will promote change and growth in the public service through systematic workplace education and cultivate future-oriented talent capable of actively utilizing digital technologies such as generative artificial intelligence (AI)."
