‘Doma Forena Haemoro,’ jointly constructed by Hanwha Construction Division and HJ Heavy Industries, is gaining attention as a beneficiary complex of the recently commenced Daejeon Urban Railway Line 2 (Tram). Currently, contracts are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and the supply of units is rapidly being depleted.
Daejeon Urban Railway Line 2 is a tram-type circular route with a total length of 38.8 km connecting five autonomous districts of Daejeon. Construction officially began in December 2024, with the goal of opening by the end of 2028. Among the stations, a new tram station named Doma Station (tentative) is planned to be established at Doma Intersection, where ‘Doma Forena Haemoro’ is located.
‘Doma Forena Haemoro’ is a branded apartment complex consisting of a total of 818 households in the Doma·Byeondong 9 Redevelopment Promotion Zone. Of these, 568 units are available for general sale. The Doma·Byeondong district, where the complex is situated, is undergoing an urban maintenance project with a total scale of about 25,000 households. It is expected to transform into the central residential town of the southwestern area of Daejeon in the future.
‘Doma Forena Haemoro’ is close to Gyebaek-ro, Daedunsan-ro, and Doma Intersection. It also offers easy access to Honam Expressway, Daejeon Southern Ring Expressway, and Tongyeong-Daejeon Expressway. It is adjacent to a wide transportation network including Daejeon Southwest Terminal, KTX Seodaejeon Station, and Daejeon Subway Line 1 Seodaejeon Negeori Station. The educational environment and residential conditions are excellent. Within a 1 km radius of the complex, educational facilities such as Daesin Middle and High Schools, Boksu Elementary School, Daejeon Samyuk Elementary School, Beodne Middle School, and Jeil High School are concentrated. Green spaces like Yudeungcheon Stream and Oryang Mountain, as well as Daejeon O-World and Ppuri Park, are nearby, providing a pleasant living environment.
The ‘Forena’ brand’s specialized design is also noteworthy. The layout is mainly south-facing with wide distances between buildings (up to 64 meters), some unit types feature a 4-bay structure, and practical designs such as alpha rooms and pantries are applied with consideration for usability and natural lighting. High-quality materials are used, including glass railing windows in the living room and master bedroom, German REHAU system windows, premium ‘Forena Edge Look’ outlets, and integrated smart switches. Various community facilities such as a wellness center, golf training center, book caf?, kids caf?, and senior clubhouse are also provided. The basement includes electric vehicle charging zones and unmanned parcel lockers.
Daejeon Seo-gu has been removed from the regulated areas. Even single-homeowners can apply for subscription, and the resale restriction period is short at six months. Currently, first-come, first-served contracts allowing selection of preferred building and unit numbers are underway, with move-in scheduled for the first half of 2027.
