Theme: "A Drama-like Scenery, A Movie-like Day"
Gochang County in North Jeolla Province will host the 22nd Gochang Cheongbori Field Festival at the Hagwon Tourism Farm area in Gongum-myeon from April 19 to May 11.
According to the county on the 24th, preparations are in full swing to welcome spring tourists, focusing on creating a safe festival venue and organizing a variety of programs.
The Gochang Cheongbori Field Festival has chosen the theme "A Drama-like Scenery, A Movie-like Day." Photo zones recreating scenes from dramas and movies filmed at the actual Gochang Cheongbori fields will be set up, offering visitors the experience of being in a movie or drama scene.
The county is currently working on maintaining public restrooms, deck paths, the main event site, relocation areas, and convenience facilities to ensure a safe and clean festival environment. Temporary women-only restrooms will be expanded for female visitors, and environmental improvements such as signboards and the removal of dead trees will be carried out simultaneously.
Additionally, food hygiene inspectors will thoroughly check the hygiene of restaurants within the festival grounds. A price gouging report center will be operated, and a price display system for meals and items for sale will be implemented to stabilize prices within the festival area and increase visitor satisfaction.
County Governor Shim Deokseop said, "The development of the festival is possible when tourists and residents participate together and an economic virtuous cycle is achieved. We will do our best to go beyond being the top scenic festival and become the best festival in the country, aiming for mutual growth in the region."
