Jeong Cheolwon, the JG Nation Innovation Party candidate for Damyang County Governor, held his first weekend campaign rally at 11 a.m. on the 22nd at the entrance of the Damyang-eup marketplace, Yanggakgyo.

This rally was attended by Representative Shin Jangshik, Seo Heewon, chairman of the Jeonnam Provincial Party, Jeong Dosang, chairman of the Jeonbuk Provincial Party, as well as many supporters and volunteers, all expressing their expectations for change and innovation in Damyang.

In particular, Choi Hwasam, former Democratic Party preliminary candidate for Damyang County Governor, who left the Democratic Party the previous day, took the stage and declared his support for Jeong. Choi exposed the Democratic Party's unfair primary process and undemocratic behavior, urging, "For the development of grassroots local autonomy, please elect Jeong Cheolwon as Damyang County Governor."

Additionally, Representative Shin Jangshik, who had been listening to the public sentiment throughout Damyang city since dawn, stated, "The six opposition parties are fighting in strong solidarity to complete the impeachment of Yoon Sukyeol and establish a new democratic government," and emphasized, "Please create a new history by choosing the JG Nation Innovation Party candidate, who can represent the region through fair competition, as your county governor."

Meanwhile, Jeong stated, "The underlying sentiment of Damyang's people is shifting away from the Democratic Party's 30-year single-party system and is now flowing towards the JG Nation Innovation Party," and appealed, "Let's create a new wave of 'Daemingojo' (President from the Democratic Party's unified candidate, county governor Jeong Cheolwon from the JG Nation Innovation Party)."
