A School Without Traffic Concerns... Gwangju Office of Education Launches First 'School Net Advancement' Gwangju Office of Education building.

According to the Gwangju Office of Education on the 21st, the Gwangju Education Research and Information Institute has been implementing the 'Gwangju Education Information Network SchoolNet Advancement Project' since December last year, in line with the introduction of AI digital textbooks. Through this project, dedicated lines have been established for schools and educational institutions in the region, and a new wireless backbone network has been installed using 16 types of high-performance equipment.

With this, schools in the Gwangju area that have adopted AI digital textbooks are now able to operate classes in a stable network environment without overload, and the blocking of harmful sites has also been strengthened, allowing for the safe use of digital content. Issues related to network traffic, which previously occurred under the combined wired and wireless network system, have also been improved.

The Gwangju Office of Education explained that, as the first case nationwide, they have been receiving benchmarking requests from other regional education offices. Oh Hwasook, Director of the Gwangju Education Research and Information Institute, stated, "The infrastructure to support digital education has been established," and added, "We will continue to improve the network for schools in the future."
