Two Single Items and Seven Set Menus
Prices Up by 200-300 KRW
"Rising Exchange Rates and Raw Material Costs"
McDonald's Korea announced on the 14th that it will adjust the prices of some menu items starting from the 20th.
The price adjustment applies to 20 menu items, with an average overall increase of about 2.3%. The price hike ranges from a minimum of 100 KRW to a maximum of 300 KRW, and the company explained that the increase was minimized considering the level of consumer price inflation.
Among the menu items subject to price adjustment, there are two burger single items (Bulgogi Burger, Cheeseburger). The prices of these two items will increase by 200 KRW, while the prices of the other burger single items will remain unchanged. For burger set menus, prices of seven items will be adjusted by 200 to 300 KRW.
In the beverage and coffee menu, only one item, 'Drip Coffee,' will see a 200 KRW price increase. Prices of the other beverage and coffee items remain unchanged.
A McDonald's Korea representative stated, "While overall costs have been steadily rising, we have tried to minimize the burden passed on to customers, but due to continuous increases in exchange rates and raw material costs, we have inevitably proceeded with the price adjustment."
