Utilizing Lotte Group's AI Platform Aimember
Own Servers Used... Reduced Concerns Over Information Leakage
Lotte Construction announced on the 13th that it has developed the 'Lotte Construction Chatbot' using the group's artificial intelligence (AI) platform Aimember. The core function of this chatbot is to quickly provide construction quality and technical know-how to employees.
Unlike general chatbots that provide information based on public data, the Lotte Construction Chatbot operates based on internal knowledge documents. It also reduces concerns about information leakage by using its own servers.
Through the chatbot, users can easily find practical information such as ▲on-site construction cases ▲quality control standards ▲quality regulations and work manuals ▲ultra-high-rise construction technologies.
When a question is entered, the chatbot provides answers in various formats such as images and tables. It also supports related questions and external search functions. In particular, it is expected to help quality management by sharing success and failure cases actually experienced at construction sites.
The chatbot also received excellent scores in search accuracy evaluation. In the 'Hit@K' method, one of the indicators for evaluating search performance, it scored 0.9 out of 1 point, surpassing the average score of 0.8 for general chatbots.
Its natural language generation ability was also higher than average. In the 'Rouge-N' metric, which evaluates how similar the generated text is to the original, it scored 0.5 out of 1 point, exceeding the evaluation standard of 0.4. For reference, OpenAI's GPT-4o scores 1 point on this metric.
A Lotte Construction official said, "With the introduction of the chatbot, employees can quickly obtain the necessary information without having to search through complex documents or materials themselves, greatly improving work efficiency," adding, "We plan to further expand the service scope through additional development in the future."
