Operation of University Job Plus Center and Graduate Specialized Program

Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 10th that it will operate the University Job Plus Center (second year) and the Graduate Specialized Program (first year) this year.
Over the past year, the University Job Plus Center has supported 1,027 current students with career and employment counseling, 5,015 students through extracurricular programs, 625 graduates with employment counseling, and 1,397 local youth.
The career and employment counseling services included: ▲self-understanding using vocational psychological tests ▲career, job, and company exploration using workbooks ▲one-on-one resume and interview consulting.
Additionally, the extracurricular programs provided: ▲department-tailored competency enhancement ▲career exploration by company and job ▲certification courses ▲contests ▲employment preparation strategies ▲resume and interview special lectures ▲recruitment briefings ▲connections to participation in job fairs.
The University Job Plus Center plans to continue offering counseling and extracurricular programs tailored to the needs of students, graduates, and local youth in the 2025 academic year so that they can explore suitable career paths and enter society.
In particular, special counseling and programs for graduates will be operated through the Graduate Specialized Program.
