The Department of Computer Engineering at Honam University (headed by Professor Oh Myunghoon) announced on the 8th that student Yoo Chaewon (senior) has been selected as a Mirae Asset Hope Foundation scholarship recipient.

Yoo Chaewon will receive a total scholarship of 6 million KRW throughout this year.

Yoo Chaewon has consistently achieved excellent academic results every semester with passion and diligence toward her studies. She has also actively participated in research and project activities, enhancing her capabilities in her major field. Since her freshman year, she has been involved in laboratory activities and has carried out various projects, growing not only in academic achievement but also by gaining practical experience through her continuous efforts.

The Mirae Asset Hope Foundation operates a scholarship program that supports students with outstanding academic performance and the potential to lead future society. This scholarship is not simply awarded for academic excellence, but is a program that comprehensively evaluates a student’s potential for academic growth, as well as research and practical competencies.
