On the 7th at around 10:19 PM, a power outage occurred on the down line of the Gyeongbu High-Speed Railway near Kimcheongumi Station in Bongsan-myeon, Gimcheon-si, Gyeongbuk, causing train operations to be delayed.
Power was restored about 10 minutes later, but 28 high-speed trains experienced delays ranging from about 20 minutes to as long as 130 minutes. Korail completed facility inspections in the fault area after all train operations had ended.
A Korail official stated, "After restoration, all trains have been operating normally from the first train of the day."
