Donation to the Gumi City Scholarship Foundation
Shin Kyungeun, President of the Gumi City Women's Association Council, and her spouse Kim Kyungnam have donated a scholarship fund of 10 million KRW to foster local talent.

The Gumi City Scholarship Foundation announced on the 7th that a donation ceremony was held in the mayor's office on the 5th, where they expressed gratitude for the warm generosity of President Shin and her spouse. President Shin's children also attended the event, making the moment even more meaningful.
President Shin stated, "It is our society's responsibility to help children pursue their dreams without financial burdens," adding, "I hope this donation will become a small source of hope for students."
Gumi Mayor Kim Jangho said, "Thank you for this valuable donation to nurture local talent," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that the scholarship fund provides practical support for students through the foundation's operations."
Meanwhile, President Shin also donated 2 million KRW each in 2022 and 2024 as scholarship funds, and in recognition of her contributions to expanding women's participation in society and promoting a culture of gender equality, she received the 'Proud Resident Award' at the 2024 Gyeongsangbuk-do Residents' Day event.
