4by4 Participates in Largest Broadcast Equipment Exhibition with 8K Association

Content AI solution provider ForByFor announced that it will participate in the global broadcasting equipment exhibition ‘2025 NAB’ held in Las Vegas, USA, in collaboration with the 8K Association.

ForByFor explained that it is significant because it will participate together at the 8K Association booth. The 8K Association is an organization established under the leadership of Samsung Electronics, involving TV manufacturers, panel manufacturers, equipment companies, technology certification bodies, and content production companies. As a key organization leading the global 8K ecosystem, prominent global companies such as Samsung Electronics, Google, Intel, Panasonic, IMAX, TCL, and MediaTek are members. Specialized in ultra-high-definition implementation technology, ForByFor is the only domestic content company to be a member of the 8K Association.

ForByFor will showcase its self-developed image quality enhancement AI solution ‘PIXELL’ to visitors. PIXELL is an AI solution that rapidly upscales regular video to 8K-level ultra-high definition while reducing content service bitrate by more than 50%.

In addition to the existing SaaS and API methods, ForByFor will introduce a wider variety of hardware products of the ‘On-Premise’ type, a self-server installation method preferred by broadcasting equipment companies. These products are designed to apply the PIXELL solution directly to in-house servers by utilizing GPUs or NPU chips embedded in the hardware.

They will demonstrate various on-site applications such as improving videos shot in FHD (2K) or 4K quality to 8K level or reducing bitrate without quality degradation. It is expected to actively promote the technological competitiveness of the PIXELL solution to overseas visitors.

Baek Seong-wan, head of ForByFor’s PIXELL business division, introduced, “The hardware products to be showcased at the exhibition greatly expand user choice, making them easy to use from large broadcasters, studios, and distributors to small-scale productions and freelancers.” He added, “We are receiving positive responses from local broadcasting officials and sales companies. We plan to conduct aggressive local sales activities to lead to actual contracts through participation in NAB.”
