Every year, the Dong-A University IR Center conducts a satisfaction survey of education consumers (current students, graduates, etc.) and selects outstanding departments and majors that sincerely establish and implement improvement plans for one year based on the survey results.

The outstanding department for satisfaction improvement in 2025 was the ‘Management Division,’ and the outstanding major was the ‘Political Science and Diplomacy Major (Department of Political Science and Sociology).’

The Management Division identified dissatisfaction with learning spaces and facilities (classrooms and laboratories) and student convenience facilities (lounges and cafeterias) on campus, improved learning spaces and equipment, enhanced the cafeteria and convenience facilities, operated the 24-hour Gupsket store, installed a Life Cut photo booth, prevented theft incidents with CCTV, and is currently remodeling the lounge area.

The Political Science and Diplomacy Major (Department of Political Science and Sociology) held seminars inviting local politicians, party members, political administration agencies, and environmental and welfare experts to increase satisfaction with the department regarding graduates’ employment prospects, providing knowledge and information to develop practical job skills.

At the appreciation plaque presentation ceremony held at the outstanding department and major offices, Director Cha Kyung-chun said, “The feedback process based not only on education satisfaction but also on internal university data is an essential process for the sustainable development of the university,” and added, “We ask for active participation in the feedback process to manage the quality of educational services provided to students.”

The Dong-A University IR Center plans to publish the education consumer (current students and graduates) satisfaction survey report in April to May and will request the establishment and implementation of satisfaction-based improvement plans for administrative departments and majors based on the survey results.
