Applications are open until the 31st, and after a screening process, a final selection of 20 participants will be made.
Selected entrepreneurs will receive a comprehensive support package for startup success, including ▲30 hours of practical entrepreneurship education and networking ▲five expert consultations ▲business commercialization funding (up to 11 million KRW) ▲an overseas training program linked to an export consultation meeting in Indonesia (scheduled for November).
Director Kim Chanbae stated, "According to Statistics Korea, the average retirement age for the middle-aged is 49.4 years, leading to a growing demand for entrepreneurship for economic stability and self-fulfillment. We will actively support the middle-aged, who possess abundant experience and expertise, so they can take on new challenges and continue their economic activities."
Meanwhile, through this program last year, 19 entrepreneurs received a total of 160 million KRW in support funds, which enabled them to receive consulting and participate in overseas training. As a result, they achieved 3.48 billion KRW in sales and $24,400 in export performance.
