Authentic Korean-Style Dumplings Realized
Meat Pieces Up to Twice as Large as 'Bibigo Wang Gyoja'
CJ CheilJedang announced on the 6th that it has launched 'Bibigo Yukjeup Gadeuk Mandu,' dumplings filled with large chunks of meat and vegetables.
'Bibigo Yukjeup Gadeuk Mandu' is a product that utilizes Bibigo's unique technology to replicate authentic Korean-style dumplings. Unlike typical frozen dumplings on the market, it features large pieces of pork and vegetables. Compared to the existing 'Bibigo Wang Gyoja,' it contains meat pieces up to twice as large, and to add crunchiness and chewiness, zucchini and king oyster mushrooms are included. New equipment was developed and introduced to enable the use of large raw ingredients as dumpling filling. The dumpling skin is the thinnest and chewiest among the company's frozen dumpling products.
Yoon Ju-young, head of the Dumpling and New Category Team at CJ CheilJedang, said, "Through continuous research and development efforts, we will focus on introducing products that cannot be experienced with existing frozen dumplings while also driving market growth."
