Cheonan City Invites Proposals for Resident Participatory Budget Projects

About 5 Billion KRW to Be Reflected in Next Year's Budget

Cheonan City Invites Proposals for Resident Participatory Budget Projects

Cheonan City in Chungnam Province announced that it will be accepting proposals for the Participatory Budgeting Project from residents until the 31st.

This project allows residents to propose initiatives and participate in the budget allocation process. Through this public call, the city plans to discover projects worth a total of approximately 5 billion KRW and reflect them in next year's budget.

Proposed projects will be finalized after a feasibility review by the relevant departments, a deliberation committee, and a citizen vote.

Proposals can be submitted through the Cheonan Participatory Budgeting website or at administrative welfare centers.

Mayor Park Sangdon said, "We ask for your interest and participation so that citizens' ideas can be reflected in city administration," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that as many proposed projects as possible are included in next year's budget."
