Korea Expressway Corporation to Select Exemplary Truck Drivers by November

Korea Expressway Corporation announced that it will select exemplary truck drivers in 2025. This is a reward system to encourage truck drivers to practice safe driving on their own, prevent traffic accidents, and establish a safety culture. Participation is possible through a pop-up window after installing the truck driver-exclusive application Atlan Truck. From this month until November, 90 truck drivers with the highest safety driving scores will be selected each month, and a total of 810 people will receive mobile coupons. Five cumulative outstanding drivers will receive a prepaid Hi-Pass card worth 100,000 KRW and a commendation from the president of the Expressway Corporation. According to the corporation, the average number of risky driving incidents per 100 km for drivers using the Atlan Truck app was 67.9 last year, which is 3.4 fewer than the previous year. The number of risky driving incidents for exemplary truck drivers selected last year was 3.6, significantly lower than that of all drivers.
