The Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Lee Nam-il) announced on the 21st that it is conducting a quiz event on the 'Here We Honor Veterans' website in celebration of the 106th Samiljeol (March 1st Movement) anniversary.
This event was organized to reflect on the historical significance of Samiljeol and to raise public awareness of the value of honoring veterans. The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation, and the Busan Veterans Affairs Office is promoting various veterans-related events under the slogan "80th Liberation Anniversary, A Korea United Through Veterans Affairs."
The quiz event is designed to allow participants to naturally learn historical facts and reflect on the meaning of honoring veterans by solving questions related to Samiljeol.
Anyone can participate in the quiz event, and prizes will be awarded through a draw among those who answer correctly. Citizens wishing to participate can do so through the 'Here We Honor Veterans' website until March 3rd.
A representative of the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office stated, "In commemoration of Samiljeol, we prepared this event so that citizens can reflect on the history of independence and the sacrifices and contributions of those who devoted themselves to the country," and added, "We ask for your great interest and participation."
