Meritz Securities forecasted on the 18th that Lumir will turn profitable this year.

Researcher Jeong Jisoo of Meritz Securities stated, "We estimate sales of 25.3 billion KRW and an operating profit of 900 million KRW this year," adding, "Sales are expected to increase by 77.1% compared to the previous year, and operating profit will turn positive."

He continued, "The satellite manufacturing business is expected to reach 18.8 billion KRW this year, increasing by 75.4% compared to the previous year," and added, "We aim to participate in more than four national satellite projects, including multipurpose practical satellites, lunar exploration satellites, orbital technology verification satellites, and low Earth orbit meteorological satellites."

He also said, "We plan to diversify our portfolio by strengthening cooperation with overseas institutions," and predicted, "In the civilian sector, sales will increase due to growing demand for solenoids used in ship engine fuel control valves."

Researcher Jeong forecasted, "We plan to pioneer the satellite service market through the launch of Lumir X No. 1 scheduled for early next year," and "We intend to promote pre-marketing and contracts for satellite data services starting this year." He emphasized, "Lumir X is a 0.3m resolution ultra-small SAR satellite, and high demand is expected from domestic and international customers."
