To Be Held at Six Corporation Facilities Including Shooting and Swimming Venues
Gyeongnam Changwon Facilities Corporation announced on the 17th that it held a pre-inspection meeting to ensure the successful hosting of the 54th National Youth Sports Festival and the 19th National Disabled Students Sports Festival, scheduled for May.
At this sports festival, competitions in six events including shooting, swimming, tennis, and gymnastics will be held at six facilities under the corporation, such as Changwon International Shooting Range, Changwon Indoor Swimming Pool, and Changwon Football Center.
The meeting, chaired by Kim Dong-hwan, Head of the Facilities Division, was attended by department heads of the relevant facilities to review ongoing facility improvements and discuss current issues and safety measures.
In particular, prioritizing safety, the plan is to strengthen safety inspections for each stadium and conduct joint fire drills with related organizations to ensure a "Safe Sports Festival."
Additionally, thorough inspections of the venues will be conducted before the event period, and any necessary improvements will be actively addressed.
Head Kim stated, "We will make every effort to prepare for the event so that the athletes and spectators visiting Changwon can perform to their fullest ability in safe venues and enjoy the games comfortably."
