The MMCA X LG OLED Series is a large-scale exhibition project held in the open exhibition space ‘Seoul Box’ at the MMCA Seoul branch, supported and technologically backed by LG Electronics.

Chusu is a female artist who has gained international attention for her unique works exploring the boundaries between cyber ecosystems and reality, addressing contemporary issues such as identity, gender, and human rights. In this exhibition, she presents a large-scale video work expressing digital life forms, themed around women’s desires and cycles connected to the creation of life, utilizing LG Electronics’ latest signage technology. Additionally, a sculptural installation made with moss possessing actual vitality will be displayed together to evoke the cycle of life, extinction, and regeneration.

Oh Hyewon, Executive Director of MS Experience Marketing at LG Electronics, stated, "The MMCA X LG OLED Series is an innovative attempt to show how technology can expand artistic expression, providing an immersive sensory experience."

Kim Seonghee, Director of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, said, "This project will demonstrate the convergence and experimental nature of contemporary art, creating a new platform that redefines the boundaries between art, humanity, and cutting-edge technology."

The exhibition opens on August 1 and will be held at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Seoul until February 11 of next year.
