Mokpo University Holds Instructor Capacity Building Training for 'School Consulting Project'

Effective Operation of Digital Literacy Education

The Digital AI Education Center at Mokpo National University (President Song Hacheol) announced on the 11th that it successfully completed competency enhancement training for about 40 instructors participating in the "Visiting School Consulting Project" at Hotel Inter-Burgo in Daegu on the 8th.


This training was organized to strengthen expertise for the effective operation of digital literacy education and to cultivate the capabilities needed for successful school consulting support.


During the morning session, Professor Seo Youngseok of Daegu National University of Education delivered a lecture on "AI and the Direction of Future Education," leading an in-depth discussion on the impact of artificial intelligence on the education sector and its future development.

In the afternoon session, Vice Principal Ok Jinyeop of Changwon Hapseong Elementary School and Teacher Kim Minjeong of Gumi Munseong Elementary School presented outstanding cases of AI education and held a Q&A session. Group discussions were also held to actively discuss strategies for AI-based educational innovation.


Cho Gwangmun, Director of the Digital AI Education Center, stated, "The impact of AI technology on education is growing, so educators must consider and prepare for the direction of future education together," adding, "This seminar will serve as a stepping stone for educational innovation."


Kim Dooyeon, President of the DX Education Data Association, which is in charge of the Yeongnam and Jeju regions in the Mokpo National University consortium for the 'Visiting School Consulting Project,' said, "The DX Education Data Association plans to actively support the effective use of AI and data-based education," and added, "I hope today's seminar served as a meaningful forum for discussion."


Meanwhile, the Digital AI Education Center at Mokpo National University will operate the "Cultivating Sustainable School Leadership" program this April, providing collective leadership training for school administrators (principals, vice principals, department heads, etc.).


This training focuses on exploring sustainable school management strategies in a changing educational environment and fostering effective leadership capabilities. In particular, this training, in connection with the "Visiting School Consulting Project," will focus on providing customized strategies that can be practically applied in schools.
