A special concert marking the end of the long winter and the beginning of the new spring will be held.
The Yeongdeok Cultural Tourism Foundation will host the ‘2025 New Spring Concert with the County Residents’ on March 6th at 7 PM at the Yeju Culture and Arts Center Grand Performance Hall.
This performance is a spring welcoming event sharing the vibrant energy of the new spring through beautiful classical melodies, and at the same time, it will be a more meaningful occasion as it is a stage where Yeongdeok county residents participate directly. The performers include the Yeongdeok County Residents Orchestra, Yeongdeok County Women’s Choir, and Golden Age Choir, with musical actor Hong Ji-min and soprano Lee Ah-young joining as special guests to add excitement.
The concert repertoire is also planned with warm classical masterpieces and popular works so that all age groups can enjoy it. Familiar selections ranging from traditional classics such as 'Pomp and Circumstance March,' 'Beautiful Country,' 'Teo,' and 'Beautiful Rivers and Mountains' to popular songs are expected to provide moments of joy and emotion for audiences of all ages.
A representative of the Yeongdeok Cultural Tourism Foundation stated, “Since this New Spring Concert is a stage created directly by the county residents, it will be a meaningful occasion to promote harmony among local residents and expand opportunities to enjoy culture and arts,” adding, “We plan to continuously present various performances and programs to enhance the quality cultural life of the county residents.”
The 2025 Yeongdeok County New Spring Concert is free of charge for all seats, and admission tickets can be applied for through the Yeongdeok Cultural Tourism Foundation website starting February 13th.
