Positive Response to Activities Such as Learning K-Short Form
Jeonju University (President Park Jinbae) recently completed a successful short-term overseas education volunteer program in Luang Prabang, Laos (at Souphanouvong National University).
According to Jeonju University on the 7th, this volunteer activity was carried out through the 'Short-term Overseas Education Volunteer Program for Teachers Dispatched Abroad' organized by the National Institute for International Education.
This program aims to strengthen the global capabilities of prospective teachers and provide advanced educational aid to Official Development Assistance (ODA) countries. The volunteer team dispatched to Laos was organized into a Korean Language Team (Korean language and culture, etc.) and a Multidisciplinary Team (mathematics, science, arts and physical education, culture, IT).

In particular, activities such as ▲Learning K-Short Form ▲Learning Korean through K-POP ▲Creating Songs with AI ▲Learning the Six Principles of Korean ▲Exploring Types of Korean Sentences, which were conducted by the volunteer team, received an enthusiastic response from Laotian students.
A representative from a Laotian institution said, "Jeonju University students taught Korean to local students with passion and professionalism, and through this process, the local students gained confidence and valuable experiences," adding, "This exchange is expected to become an important opportunity to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries, going beyond simple education."
Hwang Insu, Director of the Social Service Center at Jeonju University, said, "Through a life of service and dedication, our students have grown to the next level," and added, "We will continue to strive to provide more students with opportunities to develop a global perspective and experience diverse cultures."
Meanwhile, Jeonju University, as a prestigious Christian private university, visits developing countries every year to carry out volunteer activities, practicing sharing, service, and active volunteerism.
